Continuing the Glory of the Past Century, Supporting the U.S. Presidential Agenda Under the MAGA
The Presidential Achievement Award personally issued by President Ronald Reagan (1982), commending His Excellency C.C. Chang for his long-term, steadfast, and generous support in helping the Republican Party maintain its Senate majority.
In the historical legacy of the CCC Global Presidential Friends Club and ACFC, we have always been committed to bridging global leaders and promoting peace, prosperity, and shared values. As an organization spanning centuries, our efforts over the past hundred years have laid a solid foundation, while the New Centennial Initiative, with “All Children Future Care” (global care for children’s future) at its core, continues the MAGA (Make America Great Again) spirit and supports the great revival of the U.S. presidential agenda. Today, we particularly respond to the call from South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, integrating the efforts of the past and new centuries into our firm support for the MAGA agenda.

The Past Century: Family Legacy, Revolutionary Struggle, and the Foundation of Global OrderThe roots of the CCC Club trace back to the century-long efforts of its founder, His Excellency C.C. Chang, and his family. Since 1929, Mr. C.C. Chang and his family have witnessed and participated in major historical transformations of the 20th century. His father, Zhang Yulin, served as county magistrate in multiple counties in Zhejiang Province under the Nationalist Government. The family network was deeply embedded among the Nationalist military and political elite, later retreating to Taiwan where his father-in-law, the renowned anti-Japanese general and former Taiwan Defense Commander, Huangpu Phase III graduate General Shi Jue, participated in key battles of the War of Resistance Against Japan (such as the Nankou Campaign, Tai'erzhuang Campaign, and Wuhan Campaign). After retreating to Taiwan in 1948, General Shi served as Deputy Commander of the Defense Headquarters and Commander-in-Chief of the Joint Logistics Command. The family also maintained close ties with foster father Tang Enbo, Hu Tsung-nan, and other generals. These military and political family figures contributed to the Allied victory and postwar reconstruction during World War II and the Chinese Civil War through intelligence support, logistics, and private channels.This lineage directly extended to the founding of the United Nations. In 1945, the Republic of China (ROC) became a founding member and permanent member of the UN Security Council, representing “China” on the international stage. The predecessor networks of ACFC, through the overseas Chinese support system of the Nationalist Government, indirectly participated in and witnessed this process. The concept of “China” here transcended any single regime (not limited to the PRC) and encompassed the overall identity of global Chinese people, including those in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and the overseas diaspora. As a Nationalist Navy officer, Mr. C.C. Chang immigrated to the United States with his family in 1959. In 1960, he founded the CCC Club, opening a new chapter in people-to-people diplomacy. He personally participated in key historical moments such as Nixon’s 1972 visit to China and established private friendships with U.S. presidents beginning with Kennedy, including receiving the Presidential Achievement Award personally issued by President Reagan in 1982, in recognition of his generous support for the Republican Party’s maintenance of Senate majority.Over the past century, through two generations of family revolutionary struggle and military-political cooperation, we accumulated a global network of 175 world leaders across five continents and supported the core principles of the Republican Party: limited government, a stronger America, and individual liberty. This is not only a witness to history but also a forerunner of the MAGA spirit—President Reagan’s use of the phrase “Let’s Make America Great Again” during his 1980 campaign echoes precisely the resonance of our century-long efforts.Senator Lindsey Graham’s Call: The Core Embodiment of the MAGA AgendaWe highly commend Senator Lindsey Graham’s appeal: “Keeping the Senate majority is crucial for President Trump’s agenda. We’re in a fight to end sanctuary cities and keep our border secure. Help me keep the Senate majority for President Trump!” This is not merely a political call; it is the vivid practice of the MAGA spirit in contemporary America. Senator Graham’s emphasis on border security and the restoration of order aligns perfectly with MAGA’s “America First” philosophy: it aims to restore national sovereignty, safeguard economic prosperity, and continue the Reagan-era commitment to strong national defense and conservative values.As the CCC Club, we view this as a continuation of our century-long legacy. As early as the Reagan era, we supported similar agendas through donations and private networks. Today, amid complex U.S.-China relations, Senator Graham’s call injects strength into global stability.
