The CIGIU delegation successfully obtained an audience with Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, UAE. With the full support of the Prince’s Office, the delegation co-hosted the China-UAE Graphene Industry Summit Forum. At the forum, Sheikh Khalifa clearly stated that he would fully advance the development of CIGIU in the UAE and hoped to leverage graphene technology to boost the country’s industrial upgrading; Counselor He Song from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in the UAE also highly recognized this cooperation and promised to provide all-round support for the development of CIGIU member enterprises in the UAE.

China-Israel Group, a member unit of CIGIU, fully demonstrated its world-leading second-generation optical fiber technology and R&D achievements in graphene optical communication through the forum platform. After the forum, it formally signed legal documents with the UAE Royal Diamond Group and Ximeng Fund, planning to jointly establish a joint venture in Abu Dhabi to build a second-generation optical fiber production base and a graphene industrialization R&D center.



Coordinated by the CIGIU Riyadh Branch in Saudi Arabia, China-Israel Group also signed a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement with representatives of the Saudi Abdullah family, clearly finalizing the entry of second-generation optical fiber products into the Saudi market and matters related to base investment, successfully opening the Middle East market channel for corporate members.
