Witnessing Compassion at the White House – A Call to Global Unity for the ACFC New Century Plan

The CCC Global Presidential Friends Club, founded in 1960 by the esteemed "Friend of Presidents" Mr. C.C. Chang under the American Chinese Friendship Council (ACFC), we have long championed the power of cross-cultural friendships among global leaders to foster peace, cooperation, and humanitarian progress.

Our club's mission aligns seamlessly with the BBQ Ecosystem model – Big Benefit Quality – which promotes non-competitive collaboration, shared prosperity, and a world free from conflict, all centered on the welfare of future generations.

Today, from our vantage point observing international diplomacy, we turn our attention to a poignant moment at the White House that exemplifies these ideals: First Lady Melania Trump's heartfelt meeting with freed American-Israeli hostage Keith Siegel and his wife Aviva.A Touching Reunion in the Heart of American Leadership On February 4, 2026, in the opulent Blue Room of the White House, First Lady Melania Trump hosted an emotional gathering with Keith Siegel, a 65-year-old dual American-Israeli citizen who endured 484 days of captivity in Gaza tunnels following the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack.

Keith, originally from North Carolina and a resident of Kibbutz Kfar Aza, was abducted alongside his wife Aviva during the assault that claimed over 1,200 lives and led to the kidnapping of 251 individuals. Aviva was released in November 2023 during a brief ceasefire, but Keith's ordeal continued amid hunger, isolation, and witnessing unimaginable atrocities against fellow captives. This White House encounter, captured in vivid imagery, symbolizes resilience and the triumph of diplomatic empathy. Seated amid American flags and gilded furnishings, the trio shared stories of suffering, gratitude, and hope. Melania, drawing from her own documentary "Melania," which documented Aviva's earlier plea for help in New York, emphasized the personal impact of such advocacy. "It was very moving," she noted, highlighting how private conversations among leaders and their families can drive real change.

Keith, now advocating for the remaining hostages from his daughter's home in northern Israel, expressed profound thanks to the Trump administration for their role in the latest ceasefire and exchange deal that secured his freedom on February 1, 2026.

From the CCC Club's perspective, this event is more than a bilateral diplomatic gesture; it embodies the "presidential friendship" we have nurtured for over six decades. It demonstrates how leaders like President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania can leverage personal networks to resolve crises, echoing our club's history of connecting presidents, their descendants, and global influencers for peaceful outcomes.

Bridging Real-World Compassion with the BBQ Model and ACFC's Vision. This White House moment resonates deeply with our BBQ model's principles of "no-game cooperation" – a framework that rejects zero-sum conflicts in favor of mutual benefits and harm-free progress.

The Siegel family's story highlights the human cost of geopolitical strife and the need for collaborative efforts to protect vulnerable populations, particularly children and families affected by war. It complements our ACFC New Century Plan, launched in 2026, which positions "All Children Future Care" as a century-long mission to build a world without hunger, fear, conflict, or war.

Under this plan, we invite global leaders, families, and volunteers to contribute to initiatives like the BBQ-Q8 Global Cooperation Network, which evaluates "Kind Enterprises" and fosters industries centered on public welfare, family services, and child-centric futures.

Events like the White House meeting serve as real-world examples of how presidential friendships can inspire broader humanitarian networks, aligning with our goal of uniting 1 billion "quasi-citizens" in a shared ecosystem of prosperity.A Global Call to Action: Join Us in Building a Better Future. As we reflect on this inspiring White House vignette, the CCC Global Presidential Friends Club calls upon individuals worldwide to heed the lessons of empathy and cooperation. 2026 is our launch year – a pivotal moment to amplify the ACFC New Century Plan.
