Subsequently, the formal agreement was signed during the China-Malaysia Business Leaders Roundtable in Beijing in December 2014, witnessed by distinguished national leaders including then-Deputy Prime Minister YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Minister of Transport Tan Sri Liow Tiong Lai, and Minister of Tourism and Culture Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz.

After the signing, then-AMU Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dato' Dr. Jayles Yeoh, at BBQ’s invitation, attended the BBQ Global Network Power Circle Summit & Global Chamber of Commerce Presidents Conference in Los Angeles (photo below, second from right). Prof. Yeoh expressed high recognition of the BBQ Philosophy and proactively suggested hoping to receive authorization from BBQ to lead his doctoral students in authoring a monograph on BBQ Philosophy.
