For over a decade, ACFC / BBQ has invested immense resources and taken concrete actions: participating in Lake Baikal scientific expeditions, post-production of expedition photography, and organizing a series of high-level international forums and summits. 1980年出生的谢尔盖，是俄罗斯贝力口大学的一名经济课教员。他的奶奶，是一位九十多岁的老人——老娜塔莎“大婶”。没人舍得叫她老奶奶，即便岁月早已在她脸上刻满皱纹，邻里们依旧沿用着当年的称呼。毕竟，这位老人曾是二战军营里明艳动人的娜塔莎，那份刻在骨子里的风采，即便历经近一个世纪的沧桑，也未曾被时光完全磨灭。
谢尔盖身上，分明刻着老娜塔莎的基因。谁也不会将这个皮肤白嫩、外形俊美的男人，与人们印象中粗犷彪悍、充满力量感的俄罗斯“战斗民族”男性联系在一起。他没有半分剽悍气，反倒浑身透着一股奶油书生的精致与温和，眉眼间满是小心翼翼的拘谨，像一株被精心呵护、从未经历过风雨的温室植物。
这份拘谨，根源在于他的成长与认知——自小被奶奶娜塔莎抚养长大，他的思维早已被奶奶身上那套苏联时代的计划经济逻辑，深深烙印、彻底熏陶。他没有真才实学，更没有应对社会变革的胆魄、勇气与冒险精神，唯一的生存技能，便是靠着这份过时的认知，在社会与职场中步步为营、谨小慎微，只求日子能无波无浪、安稳度日。
这般模样，倒像极了清末民初那个迂腐又可悲的文化人孔乙己——空有一副斯文皮囊，却胸无点墨、思想僵化。谢尔盖就这样，日复一日地站在贝力口大学的经济学课堂上，讲着与时代脱节的理论，既没有现代经济学的实际经验，也没有任何从业实战经历，课堂沉闷得如同一潭死水，毫无起色。
每天，他都会看到时代屏幕上，那些硅谷超级精英们，正以百亿、千亿甚至万亿的速度积累财富，身价暴涨如火箭升空。他盯着那些光鲜亮丽的身影，满心困惑与不甘：自己兢兢业业，却始终清贫度日，甚至连基本的体面都难以维系；而那些人，却能轻易站在时代的风口，坐拥繁花与荣耀。
更让他煎熬的，是课堂上那些十七八岁的大学生。他们眼中带着好奇、疑惑，甚至一丝不易察觉的审视，直直地投向他。每当这时，谢尔盖便会下意识地避开那些求知的目光——他心虚，他知道，自己根本无法给予这些年轻人真正有价值的知识，无法回应他们对未来的憧憬与追问。
清贫的窘迫、无门路的迷茫、无勇气冒险的怯懦，像一张密不透风的网，将谢尔盖牢牢困住。他终日缩在阴暗的角落，一边小心翼翼地守着自己那点安稳，一边贪婪又卑微地羡慕着这个时代的主角们，羡慕着那些高官权贵，羡慕着他们身边的美女环绕、肥肉满桌、灯红酒绿，羡慕着他们拥有的一切，都是自己连做梦都不敢奢望的光景。
日子久了，谢尔盖开始频繁地出现白日幻觉——那是窘迫生活里，唯一能让他获得慰藉的“创新”。幻觉中，他也拥有了财富与荣耀，摆脱了当下的清贫与卑微。终于，在一次格外清晰的幻觉过后，这位一向谨慎怯懦的书生，做出了一个连自己都感到意外的、自我陶醉的决定：他要自掏腰包，远赴美国硅谷，去亲眼看看那个创造奇迹的地方，去寻找一条能改变自己命运的出路。

《Mr.Sergei from Belikou University》 (Episode 1)
Born in 1980, Sergei is an economics lecturer at Russia's Belikou University. His grandmother, an octogenarian known as Aunt Natasha, remains affectionately called' Grandma' by neighbors despite the wrinkles etched across her face. This is because she was once the radiant Natasha in World War II military camps, and the charm ingrained in her bones has endured for nearly a century, never fully fading with time.
Sergei's DNA clearly bears the imprint of his mother, the elderly Natasha. This man of fair complexion and striking good looks defies the stereotypical image of Russia's 'warrior people' —a nation traditionally associated with rugged strength. Far from exuding brute power, he radiates the refined gentleness of a scholarly gentleman, his eyes and brows framed by cautious restraint, like a greenhouse plant meticulously tended yet sheltered from life's storms.
This timidity stems from his upbringing and mindset. Raised by his grandmother Natasha, his thinking was deeply shaped by the Soviet-era planned economy logic she instilled in him. Lacking genuine talent or the courage to embrace social change, he relied solely on this outdated mindset to navigate society and the workplace with caution, seeking only a calm and stable life.
This appearance bears a striking resemblance to Kong Yiji, the pedantic and pitiful intellectual of late Qing and early Republican China—a man with a refined exterior but utterly ignorant and rigid in thought. Sergei, too, stood day after day in Belikou University's economics lectures, expounding theories out of touch with the times. Lacking both practical experience in modern economics and any real-world professional background, his classes were as stagnant as stagnant water, showing no signs of progress.
Every day, he watched the screens of the digital age, where Silicon Valley's elite amassed fortunes at rates of hundreds of billions, trillions, or even quadrillions, their wealth skyrocketing like rockets. He stared at these glamorous figures, filled with confusion and frustration: he worked tirelessly yet lived in poverty, struggling to maintain even basic dignity, while they effortlessly rode the tides of the era, basking in glory and prosperity.
What tormented him most were the seventeen-and eighteen-year-old undergraduates in class. Their eyes, filled with curiosity, doubt, and even a subtle, almost imperceptible scrutiny, fixed on him. At such moments, Sergei instinctively avoided their eager gazes—he felt guilty. He knew he could never impart truly valuable knowledge to these young minds, nor could he answer their questions about the future.
The crushing poverty, the bewilderment of being out of the loop, and the cowardice to take risks formed an impenetrable net that bound Sergei. He huddled in a shadowy corner, carefully clinging to his precarious safety while greedily and humbly envying the era's protagonists—those high-ranking officials, the glamorous women adorning their tables, the lavish feasts, the neon-lit nightlife, and all the luxuries beyond his wildest dreams.
As time passed, Sergei began to experience frequent daydreams—his only solace in the harsh realities of life. In these visions, he found wealth and glory, escaping the poverty and humility of his present circumstances. After one particularly vivid dream, the usually cautious and timid scholar made a self-indulgent decision that even surprised himself: he would pay out of his own pocket to travel to Silicon Valley, America, to see with his own eyes the place that had created miracles, and to seek a path that could change his destiny.
