We highly respect and support the ongoing efforts by the Singapore Government and relevant authorities in addressing bird-related issues in Nee Soon and other areas.Across Singapore, including Nee Soon, challenges caused by birds have impacted residents’ daily lives. Authorities have tried various solutions — from “birth control” bird feed, deterrent gels, to fogging — and last year rolled out the Pigeon Management Plan in Nee Soon. Similar pilot programmes in other constituencies have shown good results, with pigeon populations reduced by up to 50%. Recently, NParks restarted the crow shooting operation, which was implemented in Nee Soon on 24th March. These actions demonstrate the Government’s commitment to residents’ concerns. At the same time, we note that feedback regarding bird droppings and hygiene issues, noise disruptions (especially in the early morning), and bird congregation due to feeding continues to rise.I previously shared a video of someone feeding birds. I sincerely hope this kind of behaviour stops soon.ACFC has always upheld the principles of respecting nature and revering ecological balance. We believe that while government measures are important, society as a whole needs to reflect on the relationship between humans and nature. Cases of nature pushing back are becoming more frequent globally, reminding us to handle such matters with caution.
As a highly developed city-state, Singapore is well-positioned to actively explore the natural principles of long-term harmonious coexistence between humanity and the Earth, rather than relying solely on short-term forceful interventions.
On January 1, 2026, ACFC officially announced its New Centennial Plan, namely the ALL CHILDREN FUTURE CARE initiative. Driven purely by non-governmental forces, it promotes global sustainable governance and ecological balance, and is committed to protecting the next generation, safeguarding a green planet and clean water sources.
In 2025, ACFC specially dispatched a senior team to conduct private in-depth visits to Singapore and Southeast Asian countries including Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, to gain an authentic understanding of local humanities and natural conditions, and collected a large amount of first-hand data and specimens. At an appropriate time, these materials will be authorized to the World Common Prosperity Foundation for public release in the form of a third-party BBQ-Q8 evaluation.
Addressing bird-related issues in Singapore requires joint efforts from the government, communities and the public.
ACFC calls on governments to jointly create a more harmonious living environment on the basis of respecting the laws of nature.
ACFC continues to operate through the purely private and non-official channels of the Global Presidential Friends Club.
Acting as trusted century-long friends to decision-makers around the world, we provide leaders with independent, authentic, and reliable third-party data and insights.
In the era of AI, ACFC is committed to maintaining an independent and neutral perspective — deeply observing the world, respecting the laws of nature, caring for humanistic values, and promoting ethnic and cultural inclusion — to help build a diverse and harmonious society in the age of artificial intelligence.
We are dedicated to making comprehensive global strategic preparations in advance for humanity’s profound transformations ahead.
